Playstation wont come on tv?

Ive taken my ps3 from downstairs to upstairs in my room, ive got HD downstairs but not upstairs so ive gone from using the HDMI cable to the normal coulerd ones, but on my tv upstairs it wont come on either AV1 or AV2, can someone help :S
