Question about british airways handbag restrictions?

hey i am traveling by british airways soon and i know u arent allowed to take liquids with u on ur carry on unless it is under like 3 grams or something....i wanted to know if u could take creams...i dont mean the liquidy ones, i mean like lipstick or cream eyeshadows...also i wanna know if u can wear or take metals with u on ur carry on...my bracelets have metal on them and i am not worried about if the metal detector will go off but can they take it away from you due to it being against the restriction rules? thanks for ur help :)
