This is sad, what people actually did as a result of it being May 21 2011?

I read a article, that made me cry. These people went to extremes to avoid facing an apparent cataclysm that NEVER happened. One guy shot himself, and left his entire life savings to Harold C., a woman in the US slit her children's throats with a box cutter, then her own, some people put their animals down without them having any ailments, a lot of people left their life savings to Harold C. and his prediction, feeling it was symbolic and right. This is just what I know of in that one article. I am really disgusted with these people, if you feel like offing yourself as a result of gullibility, so be it, but do not harm your animals/children in the name of something they aren't even able to understand or have independent thought over. Using a box cutter is a shallow, gruesome, slow, painful death.. and I can't help but cry because these children had to face this terror, and never understand why someone they depended on for comfort, could do this to them... it is solely because their mother is too ignorant to see practically. People are dead, broke, jobless, homeless, etc cause of this insignificant prophetic marketing campaign. This guy made over 100 million dollars on this prophecy, I really hope the IRS finds his *ss in brazil and locks him up.
